Childhood Dream of Having a Sky Castle Dashed by Stupid Gravity

Fort Wayne, IN (Just Laugh) – Having been raised on tales of fantasy and adventure, bedazzled by might and magic and dragons and castles, it had always been 11 year-old Bobby Miller’s dream to one day live in a grand castle hovering high in the sky, with the gods themselves as his neighbors as he lorded down upon his disciples from high above…

But that whimsical dream came to a cruel and unexpected halt when Miller found himself the brunt of an unwanted summer science lesson offered by his father, the old and boring and very much unwhimsical Bryan Miller, who explained to his son in no uncertain terms that “a floating castle would fall right out of the sky due to a little something called gravity.”

“My Dad is such a jerk – I wanted to banish him to the murky swamplands of Gur’ka’bor,” the boy scowled as he retold the story about how his father ruined him creatively by introducing one Sir Isaac Newton to the line-up of otherwise extraordinary men who had all helped to weave such dreams of enchantment and wonder through hours of swordplay and magical battles that served to preserve peace throughout the boy’s imaginary homeland.

With the mental picture of his beloved Stormguard Fortress plummeting to the ground much like his dumb father’s ever-increasing beer belly, the young Miller retreated to his secondary tree fort nestled deep within the Thornside Forest to seek the counsel of Barzil, the 700 year-old green dragon whom he had befriended and now hoped could be persuaded into eating his dad’s stupid motorcycle in an act of petty revenge.
