before, so I guess I could write up a bio for him..."
Possibly one of the most hilarious writers of yesterday and today, Dave
Barry has made an impression on our generation that most others could only
dream of. Crafting anecdotal messages with titles like Blimey!
Frognal Cockfosters!, Silent Night, Holy %*&?c and Where
You Can Stick the Sticker Price, Dave has melded the minds of people
around the world into perfectly clueless zombies, although he still argues
that they were this way long before he ever showed up.
Not only winning a Pulitzer prize for his clever styles of writing and
ambiguous use of the word booger, best-selling writer Dave Barry
has also written over twenty humor books comprised of his weekly columns
and received numerous other awards that we simply don't have the space
to go into here. In addition, he recently produced his first novel,
Big
Trouble, in which he combined his standard hilarious antics with an
actual plot, instantly hitting the best-seller list. He's also had
a television show based on his life (Dave's World) and made appearances
on scads of other programs including Wheel of Fortune: Celebrity Edition
and Politically Incorrect with Bill Mahr.
During the few waking moments that Dave isn't sitting infront of a computer
creating his next work of art, he can usually be found playing guitar with
his band, The Rock-Bottom Remainders, which suprisingly enough is
composed entirely of writers, including Stephen King! Dave lives
near the gun capital of the world - Miami, Florida, with his wife Beth
