Year in Review...2000
Being our first year in publication, the first year of the new millennium
was a big time for us! Although we experienced many of the struggles
and conflicts involved with entering the entertainment industry, we ended
the year with a new vision and 4 1/2 issues of Just Laugh magazine under
our belt. Quite different from our current format, the original layout
is unique in that it was one of the few magazines on the Internet to attempt
to recreate a paper issue in its entirety online. Obviously, it didn't
work exactly like we'd hoped, but hey, you live and you learn!
Below are samples of the first five issues of Just Laugh magazine to give you
an idea of what our beginning was like. Simply click on the title to view a blown
up version of the cover for each issue...
{January 1, 2000 - Vol. 1, Issue 1} The Future is Here -- Look Busy!
OUR PREMIER ISSUE!!! Covering everything from lobsters to sex,
not to mention the ever-famous millenium bug, Just Laugh magazine
demands a window seat in the world of comedy. With big name contributions
from Dave Barry and Douglas Adams, this issue definitely started off our
running with a bang!

{June 11, 2000 - Vol. 1, Issue 3} A racist is born every minute...
Ah, controversy! Some people love it, other people hate it, but
here at Just Laugh we thrive on it! This issue focuses on the effects
that racism has had on society and the lives of millions of people through
countless generations...alright, we mainly poke fun and make light of the
whole situation, but at least it's entertaining!

{July 1, 2000 - Vol. 1, Issue 4} 'The Parody Issue'
What can we say? This was the last complete issue of Just Laugh
that was placed online in 2000, and even here, not everything ever got
completed, but that's okay. Stuff happens. It's all part of
playing the game, and we're still proud of it, so enjoy!
