Snatch  (2001)
directed by: Guy Ritchie

The best way to describe this movie is to simply say it's damn cool.  Not since Pulp Fiction has a movie been this cool.  This is Mr. Madonna's (AKA Guy Ritchie) first film since his feature film debut of Lock Stock And Two Smoking Barrels.

If you were a fan of Lock Stock, Snatch won't disappoint you.  The plot is quite complicated, so I won't even try to explain it.  But I will say this: Snatch is one of those movies where 3 seemingly unrelated plots become increasingly interwoven.  The writing is quite excellent (including some GREAT one liners).

What really steals the show is the acting.  Brad Pitt and Benicio Del Toro in particular.  Between the two of them, you can barely understand one sentence.  Del Toro is only on screen for maybe 15 minutes, but he's funny as hell.  And what can I say about Brad Pitt?  I hate the man.  He's probably the best looking man on the planet.  He's got more acting talent in his pinky than most Hollywood actors have combined.  AND he gets to have sex with Jennifer Aniston!  the bastard...  anyway I think he deserves an oscar nod for his role as Mickey the Pikey.

If you liked Pulp Fiction or Lock Stock, check out Snatch.  It's a doozy...
