I typically don't get into a game system until at least five years after its initial release, but there's always room for exceptions and I think this one takes the cake.  I've always been a Nintendo-man and have subsequently laughed in the faces of each system that rivaled them - Sega, Sony and now Microsoft???

Let's break it down: 

• Microsoft has basically found a new way to unload low-end computers to the general public - it's a nice machine, but I can get the same, if not better graphics on my PC. 
• Sony's Playstation 2 was kinda neat last year, except for the fact that it was impossible to find until this Christmas - the whole DVD option is nice if you don't already have a DVD player, but most people I know already do.  I'm just now learning to enjoy the first Playstation, so maybe in a few years...
• Between Mario & Luigi, Link and the new Star Wars game, the Nintendo GameCube should be an easy choice for gamers this holiday season!

Of the three big gaming systems that are available this Christmas, GameCube, Playstation 2 and X-Box, we here at Just Laugh prefer the GameCube.  I for one have always been a fan of Nintendo and it's products.  Here are some advantages and disadvantages:

GameCube Advantages:
Small and portable
Quick load times
Excellent controller design
Rogue Leader is the greatest game ever

GameCube Disadvantages:
Not as technologically advanced
Some games not available
No DVD capability
