"What a long, strange trip it's been..."
For a group who's been immortalized for being perpetually stoned out of reality, they sure did have a way with words, didn't they? All in the same, 2002 somehow managed to blow the bar set by the previous year right out of the water, so we thought that it might be fun to take one last look at what the year had to offer before setting forth into the uncharted realms of 2003...
It's hard to compact an entire year's worth of comedy down into one "tiny" issue like this, especially considering the ballooning our archives have seen over the last 52 weeks. Nonetheless, we've asked each of our contributors to choose their own favorite pieces over the last year, putting together a better tribute to 2002 than we could've ever pulled off!
Judging from the collection you see before you, it's been quite the busy year over in our little corner of the entertainment industry and with any luck, it'll only be getting better in the months to come! Thanks to everyone who have helped us this far along our journey - we're already looking forward to being able to bedazzle your funny bone long into 2003 and beyond!
