Made  (2001)
directed by: Jon Favreau

Let me say that Swingers is one of my favorite movies.  In case your wondering WHY I said that, it's because Made once again teams Jon Favreau with Vince Vaughn.  And again Jon Favreau penned the script.  But this time Favreau ALSO directed the film, replacing Doug Liman.

This was Favreau's directorial debut, and it shows.  The movie was quite choppy.  It just
didn't seem to flow very well.  It's probably unfair to keep comparing Made to Swingers, but I'm gonna keep doing it.  Whereas Swingers was a light-hearted party movie, Made is much darker.

Vaughn and Fareau play boxers who try their hand as mobsters.  And oh what terrible mobsters they make.  While Favreau takes his job at least somewhat seriously, Vaughn is
only in it for the glory, women, and money.  What made Swingers so great was the witty banter between Vaughn and Favreau.  In this one, Vince does ALL the talking.  And while some of it is pretty funny, it really starts to grate on your nerves.

Overall, I wouldn't say Made is a bad movie, but it's not even in the same league as its predecessor.
