Greetings from the Year 2003!!!


Can you believe that this is our 4th year of publication?!?!?! It seems like only yesterday, the very concept of Just Laugh was still in development and I was literally begging writers to even consider such a project! Well, it's good to say that we've come a long way in the past several years and I'm proud to report that we have no intentions of slowing down just yet! Last year we brought you all of your favorite columns and comics, along with a huge assortment of special features, interviews, and things you simply won't find anywhere else, and I can tell you already that we'll be bringing all that and more to the scene in 2003...

So exactly what can you expect to see from us over the next year? Well, as far as the general website is concerned, you'll first be seeing the re-launching of our official online store, The Laugh Hole, which is scheduled to present itself sometime very soon! The updated version will be much more organized, stable, and should look rather pretty, too, featuring the best in humorous books, albums and movies on our list, as well as the latest hits from our very own contributors whom you've grown to love. Also returning will be our Signature Series line, consisting of anything and everything which we can possibly get our hands on and adorn with our logo - what better way to show your friends and co-workers just how cool you really are than with your very own stylish Just Laugh lunchbox, tote bag, or even thong underwear...for the ladies only, of course! (don't worry - we'll also still have the classic t-shirts, mousepads, and coffee mugs which you've grown so fond of...)

You're also going to start seeing a lot more new projects happening around here as we begin to see some new faces getting involved with the production itself. I'm not technically allowed to give away any details just yet, but I'm pretty sure that everyone will be pleasantly surprised with what goes down! Of course, we're also hoping to be able to introduce some completely new talent to our team within the next several months, so if you're an established humorist or maybe just a really funny fellow, it would certainly be in your best interests to check out our latest posting of available positions and consider getting into the action itself! If you think it's fun reading this stuff, then just think about how great it must be for us to get to create it ourselves!!!

I'll tell you right now that this is going to be a huge year for Just Laugh. Over the past twelve months, we saw our readership more than triple itself since the previous year, we dazzled the fans with the largest creative collaboration we've cranked out to date (25 different writers!), and we even got to experience our very first appearance on national television - all of which made for a very memorable 2002, but that's just going to be the beginning! There are going to be some very great things coming from Just Laugh in the next few months and I, for one, sure do hope that you'll be sticking around to enjoy them! If you like a pleasant mixture of good, old-fashioned humor with a generous dosage of off-the-wall, hysteria-inducing laughter, then set your bookmarks now because you're going to be coming back here very frequently this year...
