Nope, fast cars aren't necessarily funny, but hey, neither is half of the other material that we post, right? Seriously, though, we're sure that the automotive manufacturer behind this year's winner is going to be just as excited, if not more, than all of the fine folks who stood proud and declared the Kumquat as last year's Funniest Food. These are the things dreams are made of, kids...

| Oct. 16, 2002 - While it was sad to hear that the Just Laugh News Van didn't exactly bring home the bacon in this category, at least we can all agree that an automobile truly worthy of the title took home the Weenie this year, so the whole thing wasn't a complete loss! Whether it was because the damn thing goes over 200 mph, or because it matched the voter's shoes, or maybe just because this car could make anybody look cool, the Viper took home more votes than any of the others combined and sent the rest packing, with their tail-pipes between their, errr, wheels...but lower than usual...
Congratulations go out to everyone at Dodge and Daimler/Chrysler, leaving us with just one question - "When do we get ours?" |
