2nd Annual Just Laugh
Weenie Awards
Best Flash Game
|
|
Anyone who spends any amount of time behind a computer knows that no matter how much you've got left to do on that project, there's always time for a quick game! Unfortunately, so many of the best computer games today take hours just to get through the opening storylines and by the time you even get started playing, it's time to go home, but that's where these guys come in! The idea behind these new games found on the web is that they can be played for as little (or as long!) as you want, so no need to worry about eating lunch at your terminal in between turns anymore! Just log on, do your thing and be back to the spreadsheets before your boss is any wiser...

Elf Bowling, by nStorm

| Oct. 16, 2002 - "Well, no offense to the other nominees or anything, but...duh!" pretty much sums up the general response to this victory, now doesn't it? Really - Elf Bowling has been the most popular holiday entertainment choice for the last three years, raking up a total of more than 50 million plays during its peak, so the voting would've almost had to have been rigged for Santa's buddies to lose in this one. We might never actually know what it is about taking out elves in the most brutal of methods that has managed to grab the attention of millions, but with a record like these guys have built up, who can argue with success?!
And if the rumors stand true, there's a good chance that we'll see the thirdinstallment of the Elf Bowling series this holiday season, so get the shopping, decorating and baking done early this year, 'cause them pins are bound to be fallin' in the masses soon enough... |
